Our 60-minute group classes combine weightlifting, gymnastics and cardio to create high intensity workouts that are both challenging and fun. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete, our programming is adaptable to all fitness levels and ages regardless of experience. You will learn the fundamentals of weightlifting and gymnastics, improve your metabolic conditioning and become a part of a fitness family.
Our dedicated coaches work with each individual to learn proper form and continually improve technique to help each person achieve their fitness goals. Beyond fitness, you’ll form friendships for life. Our members and coaches are an amazing group of people that will make Primal Fitness the best part of your day.

Blair has been doing cross-functional fitness/HIIT training since February 2014. She began after a little encouragement from her husband who convinced her to try CrossFit. She was nervous at first, but thanks to the welcoming atmosphere of SEK CrossFit, she quickly realized there was nothing to be intimidated about. A lifelong athlete and workout enthusiast, Blair has coached at CrossFit Wheat State, and Calamity Fitness before opening Primal Fitness. As a coach and athlete she never wants things to get stagnant - there is always something to learn as a coach, and there is always something to improve on as an athlete. Blair also loves watching people grow as athletes, reach their goals, and accomplish things they never thought possible when they first walked through the doors. She was motivated to start Primal Fitness by her love for fitness and the community of people. “These people are my second family and I don’t know where I’d be without them,” Blair said. “Coming to the gym is literally the best part of my day. It is truly something special that you can’t find anywhere else.”

A former Marine, and not one to shy away from a challenge, Arturo was first inspired to seek out a local CrossFit box after watching the 2012 CrossFit Games. He has been involved with cross-functional fitness ever since. Arturo began coaching in 2013 at Calamity Fitness where he worked closely with the owner, gaining knowledge of movements, programming, and coaching techniques. His athletic passion is in Olympic weightlifting and he has an acute eye for seeing flaws and correcting them. As a coach, he loves seeing an athlete's face when they get a PR, and watching people have “ah ha” moments when they achieve or improve a movement. Arturo was initially motivated to open Primal Fitness as a way to keep a tight-knit community of athletes together, but he soon realized that it was going to be a place where he could have an impact and truly change lives.

This class is taught by USA Weightlifting Sports Performance certified coaches, and focuses specifically on improving the technical execution of Olympic lifts. Athletes will learn and utilize technique drills and progressions. The class is designed to help improve technique, efficiency, and coordination of Snatch, Clean & Jerk and related lifts. Improving these two full-body movements helps to develop a better body awareness while also improving flexibility and strength. Athletes will also improve explosiveness, power, and a better baseline for Olympic lifts. Class participants will receive constant feedback from coaches as well as one-on-one time throughout the class. This class is open to all Primal Fitness athletes regardless of skill or experience level.
Primal Kids will be taught by Dr. Amy Seery and Arthur Gill. Amy and Arthur are CrossFit Kids certified and have been a part of the Primal Fitness family for several years. They are excited to share their passion for fitness with kids.
Primal Kids provides an engaging format for children to exercise, learn basic movements, improve strength and coordination and be more active! Primal Kids incorporates the basic movements seen in traditional functional fitness workouts with a strong focus on mechanics. These skills emphasize the functionality of the body and can also improve performance in any sport. Most exercises will be body weight only with some age appropriate weights added in. Each class session offers a unique kid-friendly workout and reinforces that exercise comes in many forms and should always be enjoyable.
